Rylan's 18 month checkup

Friday was Rylan's 18 month checkup. He weighs 25lbs 6 oz. and is 33 1/4 inches long. His head measured 19 1/4 inches around. So for weight and height, he is in the 50th percentile for his age and his head size is in the 75th percentile. Dr. G* said he is doing great. We really love Dr. G* and all the staff at her office. He has one nurse that is alittle strange but its ok. Rylan got a shot and didn't even cry or anything. I'm so proud of him.

He's really growing up fast lately. He knows some new words and does things a bit differently now. One thing that he's just started doing that I think is adorable is that he will walk up to you and no matter what you're doing, he'll grab your hand (one finger actually) and take you around the house wherever he wants to go. Today, he was so cute. He came up to me at the computer desk, grabbed my finger and took me into the other front room. He pointed out the window and said "Momma" and he was pointing at the roses that have bloomed on our rose bush. It was so cute. I just love this little guy more than anything. I never imagined how blessed I would be as a mother. He also thinks it is alot of fun to clean things. For example, in this photo, after he had a bath, he thought it would be fun to take the washcloth and wipe down the shower walls. He also wipes the slider door and the tables. It's kinda funny.
