Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America!!

Yes, today is a day in history that many will not forget. We have elected our first African-American to serve as the 44th president of the United States of America: Barack Obama. It's been a long day and a lot of anxious waiting to hear the news... I personally stood behind Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin. I'm sad to hear that they did not win as I feel very strongly with their ideas and goals. I'm very concerned with praying for our country. I feel that we are in a world of hurt and poverty. I am glad to see that many citizens in this country came out to vote towards what they believe. I really hope that this "change" that is promised will actually happen... that our President elect will be able to accomplish his goals and bring us all together.
